Fashion Panel & Networking Event

Upcoming Career Views


What is a Career View?
A Career View is an event hosted by the Office of Career Services, in which we take a group of Fordham students on a “site visit” to a company to obtain “behind-the-scenes” information about how the company operates on a daily basis. Students are offered a firsthand introduction to the world of work and the culture of various companies and organizations. Career Views are a great opportunity for students to begin networking, and could possibly lead to internships, mentoring and part or full-time career opportunities! Where: Metropolitan Museum of Art
When: Friday, March 1st
Time: 5-6:30pm
Additional Information: Learn about interning at the Met and participating in programs tailored for college and graduate students. Come with questions! The 90-minute session includes a question and answer session regarding the internship programs, an overview of the Museum's many different departments, and a special gallery session. Some of the different departments are:
Curatorial, Conservation, Archives, Communications, Concerts & Lectures, Digital Media, Editorial, Education, Merchandise Development and Planning,Audience Development, Retail Marketing and Publicity, Special Events, Finance, Membership and Image Library.

Diversity Week: March 2-March 8


After Hurricane Sandy AND Blizzard Nemo forced the cancelation of the Diversity in the World of Work Conference, the event has been rescheduled once again! We've moved the conference to March 2nd, to help make up "Diversity Week". Later in the week, on March 6th, students may also attend our Diversity Networking Banquet for a chance to meet additional employers on campus looking to discuss diversity in the workplace. Please note additional information below for both events:

Diversity in the World of Work Conference: “Finding Balance, Achieving Empowerment”

When: Saturday, March 2nd
